    Dear Clients,

    Due to celebration of Thanksgiving Day in the USA, you may experience low liquidity when trading CFDs (precious metals, oil, gas and indices) starting from 7:45 (GMT+2) on November 24-25.

    Thursday, November 24th

    • Forex (currencies) – no changes.
    • CFD for precious metals (Gold, Silver) will close early at 8:00 pm (server time GMT+2).
    • CFD for energies (Gas, Oil) will close early at 7:45 pm (server time GMT+2).
    • The following Indexes will close at 8:00 pm (server time GMT+2):
      • Japan 225
      • US SPX 500
      • US SPX 500 (Mini)
      • US Tech 100
      • US Tech 100 (Mini)

  • Pre-Christmas Tour of Forex Finals

  • FXOpen MT4 Server Time Changes to GMT+2

    On November 6, 2016 FXOpen will revert its trading servers from Daylight Saving to Standard Time. Starting with the market opening on Monday (November 7, 2016), the GMT offset in the company’s Meta Trader 4 trading platform will be set to GMT+2.

    The change of server time should not impact your open trades or the process of opening, placing, closing and modifying orders. However, you should keep this information in mind when planning your trading activities. We also recommend adjusting the time settings in your Indicators and EAs accordingly.

  • FXOpen Warns of High Volatility and Increased Margin Caused by the US Presidential Election

    High volatility affecting all financial instruments is expected due to the Presidential Election, that will be held in the United States on November 8th 2016. In connection with this FXOpen may increase margin requirements up to 5 times their normal level starting from November 3rd without prior notice.

  • Admission for Forex School November Begins

    FXOpen offers novice traders the opportunity to practice their skills by joining Forex School November – a ForexCup trading competition. Forex School is a recurring competition and participation is free of charge. The nearest session of Forex School will take place on 7-18 November. Admission has already started.

    At the end of the contest the top 20 traders will be awarded real money prizes and the opportunity to take part in Forex Finals (Tour XV) - the live trading contest (November 28th - December 23rd, 2016).
